I receive 100's of e-mails per day through my work and when I access Outlook through IE 10 in Windows 8, it crashes and restarts after virtually every time I send an e-mail, sometimes when I access attachments, and sometimes when moving between folders. In addition, I noticed that IE 10 crashes when attempting to view .pdf files. The error message is just "IE has stopped working and will attempt to restart." Here is a reply that was posted on one of the Microsoft Boards about how to correct this problem (I am not using Outlook.com, I am web accessing Outlook through my employer): "Answer Ace_J. replied on Forum Moderator Community Star Hello, As of now, we recommend our customers to use the lower version of Internet Explorer or to try using other browsers to access their Outlook.com account to avoid any inconveniences in navigating the mailbox and to use the feature of their Outlook.com account. Thanks!" This is painful and humorous statement after I have spent hours of effort and investigation only to discover that IE 10 cannot be defeated (or removed) in Windows 8. I have turned IE off, but can't install any lower version of IE and 3rd party browsers do not support the features of Outlook. please help!!!!!!
