Dell Inspiron 15R, Win-7-Pro. V9 Portal Site has hijacked IE10. IE10 is running smoothly, I do not notice any 'slowness', but I have concerns over 'who else' is keeping track (via 'cookies/malware') of where I am going, and whether or not my passwords/sign-in's are being passed-on without my knowledge. I want V9 Portal Site GONE. >>>It's My fault, I attempted to install a 'clear-theme' from an unknown site, where I picked-up malicious malware. I have Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes installed, and have run full system scans. All have come up negative (as expected). All 3rd-party (suspicious) software has been un-installed, and Ccleaner registry-cleaner was used to clean up remaining debris (does this actually work ?) All system restore-points where (mistakingly) deleted, by use of Microsoft Disk Cleaner, so I cannot do a system-restore. I do NOT posess the financial-wherewithall to upgrade to Win-8, and I would rather NOT do another Re-format/Re-install of Win-7-Pro >>>This copy of Win-7-Pro did NOT come pre-installed on this laptop, it was separate purchase (OEM Dell Disk) so despite the fact that this Win-&-Pro Disk is 'keyed/registered' to this Dell Inspiron 15R, there is no current option to do a Dell-Backup/Restore. Any help/advice anyone can offer (above and beyond running another obligatory virus/malware scan) would be much appreciated.
