I was using my laptop just fine earlier today, then shut it down cos it was running low on batt life (was on a plane). I remember it was a proper complete shut down. The next time I tried to start it up, was unsuccessful. This was the error code: Problem EventName: StartupRepairOffline Problem signature01: 6.1.7600.16385 Problem signature02: 6.1.7600.16385 Problem signature03: unknown Problem signature04: 21200578 Problem signature:05: AutoFailover Problem signature:06: 8 Problem signature07: CorruptFile OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Running on Windows 7 Home edition (preinstalled on laptop when I got it), and I don't have to DVD as such. I've been charging my phones via USB cable thru the laptop, but other than that no external disk drives. A CD-ROM for my Canon camera was in the D drive but things didn't get better even after I removed it. Only updated 1 program in the last 24 hours. Is there any way to go about doing this?
