Hello, A parent email was trying to help activate a kid email but when the parent went through the steps and finished and then tried to access his own account, he could not. When he logs into the parent email it says: "Your account is not ready It looks like your parent hasn't finished setting up the Family Safety settings for your account. Click "Go to Family Safety settings" to finish the process and get into your account." This does not make sense since he is the parent not the kid. When I click on the link, the web browser crashes because its confused on which web page the parent account can access. You think it would link you to Family Safety settings but it does not. But if I am logged into the kid account and go into the Family Safety settings, familysafety.microsoft.com, I get access. Now this should not happen and under the family summary listing all member is shows the kid account is the parent and primary account, which is wrong. But when I click on the parent name and it show his Family Safety settings it shows his email and an option to remove his email. It says: "Remove this Microsoft account from Family Safety? If you remove this Microsoft account from Family Safety, you won't be able to monitor it as part of your child's account. This action can't be undone. Note: Removing this Microsoft account from Family Safety doesn't delete the Microsoft account." Now I want to click and remove the email but since it can’t be undone I don’t want to risk affecting the parent email since it is an important email account. What should I do delete the kid account, which is acting like the parent account or remove the email or is there something else I can do? I just need the parent account to work. Please help!
